Dania is a Senior Counsel for Health and Reproductive Rights at the National Women’s Law Center. Her work focuses primarily on implementing health reform and expanding access to quality, affordable health care for women and their families. Prior to joining the Law Center, Dania worked for the Service Employees International Union as Deputy Administrator of a health benefit program working to provide affordable health insurance to previously uninsured low wage workers and their families and as Associate Director of Health Policy. She is an expert in the Affordable Care Act with particular knowledge on the health insurance marketplaces, private insurance and employment based coverage. Dania currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board and chairs the Plan Management Advisory Committee for the DC Health Link, the District of Columbia insurance exchange. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
